Who We Are

At Miracle Workers, we are a small but effective team who work closely together to deliver our bespoke service. Our staff have been carefully recruited; there is a wealth of business and nursing experience and many have been part of MWA since it was founded in 1996 by Miriam Warner.

Management

Katy Warner

Katy is the Managing Director, and has helped shape the ethos of the business from the beginning. She is also an experienced Assessor.

Lizzie Warner

Lizzie is the Business Development Director and an experienced Assessor. Before joining MWA she worked in client communications in London for nearly 20 years.
Care Managers

Care Managers are responsible for the placement of suitable carers with clients. They provide information and support to clients and their families as well as assisting the carers to fulfil their roles.

Sara Morgan

Sara Morgan is our Senior Care Manager and Registered Manager, with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care. Prior to MWA she worked in client communications in London.

Ceri Sargent

Ceri joined us in May 2015. She has a strong healthcare management background, having worked for reputable care provider charities, and has a NVQ in Health & Social Care (Intermediate & Advanced) and Protection of Vulnerable Adults Level 2.

Trish Tudhope

Trish has over 25 years experience in the private and voluntary care sectors, managing and developing healthcare services. She has Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care. She is a registered Care Manager with Social Care Wales.

Lisa Sumner

Lisa has over 20 years experience as a carer, carer trainer and care manager. She has Level 3 in Health & Social Care and is working towards Level 5.
Recruitment & Training

Focus on finding the best carers, ensuring they are trained and meeting our high standards. We follow their personal development and help them to expand their knowledge and experience. We look after our carers so that they can care for you.

Cressida Reed

Cressida is our HR, Recruitment & Training Manager and has been with MWA since 2011. She is a languages graduate (Italian and Spanish) and worked for many years in Education.

Vanessa Rowley

Vanessa Rowley joined us in January 2019 as the Administrator. She is now our Recruitment Consultant. Vanessa has a background in art and design and has mainly worked in print and publishing.

Susana Parra

Susana recently joined MWA as an Administrative Assistant within the Recruitment & Training department. She has a degree and MA in Anthropology and has been working with community developmental organisations and healthcare for the last 15 years.
Office Staff

Christine Hodges, Bookkeeper

Christine has been with MWA since October 2011 and handles our day to day finances.

Helen Rowland, Administrative Assistant

Helen joined MWA in 2018. She provides administrative support primarily to the Care Managers as well as the office in general.
Assessors

Come to your house and the hospital, if necessary, to meet you and/or your family to discuss your care needs, before reporting back to the care managers who focus on finding the best carer for you.

Katy Warner

As well as being the Managing Director, Katy is the Assessor for Worcestershire and surrounding counties.

Lizzie Warner

Lizzie is the Business Development Director and is also the Assessor for the South/South West.

Davina Northcote

Davina is a qualified Nurse with over 20 years’ experience in caring for patients with cancer. She is the Assessor for London & the South East and also works part-time at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

Jo Geike-Cobb

Jo lives near Shaftesbury, Wiltshire and is the Assessor for the South West. Jo was previously an Art Director for 20 years and now restores antique furniture.

Yasmin Ticquet

Yasmin lives near Colchester, Essex and is our Assessor for East Anglia and surrounding areas. She previously worked in IT Project Management and alternative therapy.

Martha Wailes

Martha lives near Darlington and is the Assessor for the North-East and surrounding areas. She comes from a television documentary research background and her parents were cared for by Miracle Workers.

Andrea Calvert

Andrea lives near Norwich, Norfolk and is the Assessor for the surrounding areas. She grew up with a family business, has worked in radio and now writes for a local publication. Andrea also cares for family with dementia.

Chrissie Spencer-Smith

Chrissie lives near Abergavenny and is our Assessor for Wales. She has been one of our Care Managers since 2006. Chrissie is a registered nurse and worked at The Royal Marsden hospital, London and Nevill Hall in Abergavenny.

Alex Nisbet

Alex is our Assessor for Edinburgh and the surrounding areas in Scotland. She has trained in remedial and sports massage and worked with special needs children. In recent years she worked in IT, property & education recruitment. Alex has lived and worked abroad and has now settled with a young family, running a small hotel with her husband near Peebles.

Isabelle Obert

Isabelle lives near Alresford, Hampshire and is the Assessor for the South. She is a qualified nutritionist with over 20 years of experience.

Kathleen Day

Kathleen lives near Banchory and is our Assessor for Aberdeenshire and surrounding areas. She lived in South Africa for many years and trained and worked as a graphic designer and architectural draughtsperson and builder. She also sold real estate and managed a children’s summer camp. In recent times, she has been a Miracle Workers carer.

David Warner

David started his career as an Army Officer before qualifying as a Barrister in 1996. He practices in Lincoln’s Inn in London.

Charles Warner

Charles is part of the management team at an international Insurance firm, with over 20 years business experience ranging from SMEs to multi-national companies.

Edward Warner

Edward is the Managing Director of a niche Consultancy firm providing services to the Financial Sector. He has over 17 years experience in Banking and Finance both in the UK and Overseas.
