Who can be a MWA Carer?

Who can be a MWA Carer?

Carers must

  • Have a good level of written and spoken English
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be confident drivers with a full, clean driving licence
  • Possess good cooking skills
  • Be over 25 (for insurance purposes)
  • Experience in care or nursing helps but we also look at personal qualities such as initiative, reliability, flexibility, patience and compassion.

You will be required to produce the following documents before training

  • Valid passport
  • Valid and clean driving licence
  • Contact details for two referees (one from your most recent employer)
  • Police Clearance Certificate (if issued in your home country)
  • Certificates of any previous care training (if you have any)
  • Any national CRB or DBS certificate (if you have one)
  • Address verification (bank statement/utility bill)
