As a Miracle Workers carer, it is important that you remain up to date with your training. We are governed by Care Inspectorate Wales, and therefore all carers must renew all mandatory training on a regular basis to remain compliant.

The current mandatory training for MWA carers is as follows:

• Manual Handling/People Handling – A practical course to be completed annually

• Safe Administration of Medication – To be updated annually either online or on a training course.

• Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults – To be updated annually either online or on a training course.

• First Aid/Basic Life Support – To be updated every 3 years either online or on a training course.

Alternatively, if you cannot make any of our dates and/or would rather do your training elsewhere, you are more than welcome to do so. Miracle Workers will need a copy of your certificate upon completion.

Please note: As of July 2018, we no longer accept any All-In-One-Day training certificates.
