Levels of Service

Duties and Responsibilities

Every client is different and our care is tailored to the needs of the individual. The level and cost of service will be agreed with the client following an assessment and confirmed in writing. As the client’s needs change, so the level of service may change during the course of the assignment.

HOME SUPPORT

Level 1

At a basic level our carers will assist the client with the running of their household

  • ● Personal Hygiene
  • ● Meal preparation
  • ● Light housework
  • ● Home administration
  • ● Shopping
  • ● Laundry
  • ● Companionship
  • ● Assisting with daily activities

Cost of Care

HOME SUPPORT & CARE

Level 2

Where a client needs a greater level of support, as well as the tasks outlined in Level 1, the carer will help with a limited level of personal care. This may include:

  • ● Assisting with washing and dressing
  • ● Continence care
  • ● Medication management as prescribed by the GP
  •   or District Nurse
  • ● Help to prepare for bed

ADVANCED CARE

Level 3

Miracle Workers can also provide support and advanced care for those clients who require a greater degree of personal care in order to remain in their own homes

Quality Assurance

Miracle Workers is committed to ensuring the highest standard of services provided and that it acts in the best interests of the client. We monitor client feedback carefully to make sure that the agency is delivering its objectives of providing a quality service and meeting National Minimum Standards. We adhere strictly to Care and Social Standards Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) Regulations. Our registered manager produces an annual report available to clients, their relatives or representatives, Miracle Workers staff and to the CSSIW.

Terms of Business

Where a client agrees to the services of a Miracle Workers Agency carer, the client is deemed to have accepted our terms, thereby agreeing to abide by the Terms of Business in the accompanying Client Guide. The agency will continue to supervise the care plan and ensure it is adhered to and/or amended to meet clients’ needs.
