Night Care
Miracle Workers Agency does not offer a night service. However, from time to time it is possible to place a carer who will be willing to cover nights. On these occasions cost will be assessed on an individual basis.
Agency Fee
The agency fee covers the cost of assessment, placement of carers, ongoing client and carer review, Miracle Workers Agency’s insurance, carer training and security checks and an out of hours emergency service.
If Miracle Workers Agency pays the carer on behalf of the client a surcharge of 5% of the agency fee is payable. The agency fee is invoiced monthly in advance.
Travel Mileage
charge for travel is 30p per mile where the carer uses her own car. The charge for use by the client of the carer’s car is 35p per mile.
The carer’s fare to the assignment is payable by the client on presentation of their first invoice. Where carers are required to travel long distances (e.g. Scotland, Northern Ireland) travel may be charged both ways. Travel costs both ways are payable by the client on all short-term bookings up to 6 weeks.
Bank Holidays Statutory
Bank Holidays that operate in England and Wales are charged at double the carer’s daily rate. The agency fee remains unchanged.
